The University of Waikato’s Women Students In Law Association (WILA) will promote the advancement of women in the legal profession through social, educational and professional activities at Te Piringa- Faculty of Law at the University of Waikato. We aim to protect the educational interests of women law students and to work for the equal opportunity and advancement of women in the study and practice of law. To do this, we help provide mutual support and encouragement to our members and engage in activities that enhance the role of women in law.
