Marhaba! I’m Mira Arif, and I’m excited to run for WSU President in 2025. Having served as a General Director in 2023 and Vice President in 2024, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the WSU’s workings and have actively engaged with key stakeholders. My journey has always been driven by a commitment to amplify the voices of marginalised communities and create safer, more inclusive spaces for all students. As President, I will continue to listen, advocate, and act to ensure that every student feels heard and supported at the University of Waikato.
