ABOUT ME

Kia ora, I’m Ben!

I was born in England, grew up in Northland, and now live in the Mighty Waikato. I moved to Hammy to study towards a Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations and Philosophy. Somehow, I’m already in my third and final year!

Because Uni isn’t already stressful enough, I work as a tutor for the Management School and as a Community Manager for a little social media agency. I’m part of a few clubs on campus, like MCSA, SEA, and Waikato Spikeball.

When I’ve had enough of Uni and work, I enjoy photography, the outdoors, and writing. I also like to keep up to date with what’s going on around the world (spoilers: it’s generally pretty dire out there) and have a giggle at the latest silly thing David Seymour said.

This is my first term as a Director. I’m proud to be a Waikato student and privileged to represent our student body on the Board! I’m on the Communications & Engagement and Kaupapa Māori committees.
