My name is Ama Dhara, and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for the vice presidential and general director roles for 2025. As a passionate advocate for justice and equality, I’ve dedicated my time to making a difference on campus and beyond. My initiative, A Path to Progress, recently held its first event at our uni, successfully fundraising for critical causes in Congo, Palestine, and Sudan. 

 

As an ethnic wāhine with a rich cultural heritage of Sri Lankan and Seychellois roots, I understand the value of diverse perspectives. As your representative, I’ll ensure every voice is heard and no one is overlooked. In my third year of a conjoint degree in law and social sciences, I’m committed to driving inclusivity and meaningful change.
