WE GOT A NEW BEAST!

You may recall a few months ago, we announced the death and subsequent mourning for the Beast, the WSU’s beloved SUZUKI CARRY that had been with us for a decade and a half. Fortunately, while the rest of us were grieving and wondering how we could go on, David West (General Manager) and TaylaDee Kelly (Clubs and Experience) were able to find a new beast. Some of you may already have seen it at last week’s Orientation, delivering our WSU bags with Jasmine on the back (except on public roads, we are safety first).

It gives us great pleasure to welcome the newest member of our fleet, “2 Beast 2 Furious” ( or Beast II for short).

Because we are legends who have been working on this for a couple of years, our last board agreed to purchase two more vehicles from the University Fleet. Which means we now have three 12-seater vans, Beast II, a cargo diesel, Our Tauranga Van, and a red BMW.

The problem is how do we name them all?

We have gone through every series of names from Ninja Turtles to Paw Patrol, and apart from one very late Orientation night when we just started trying to assign puns – we are at a loss.

SO WE  ARE TURNING TO YOU…

The only rule is that, outside of BEAST II, the names must all be linked to one another. It’s about family!
