Bongo Cafe
Bongo Cafe is an institution on Campus. It isn’t simply a sushi shop; it is the most in-demand campus eatery we have. Get there early, though, all the best stuff is gone by 2 pm.
This may be controversial, but the Chicken and Cream Cheese Sushi is the best. Fight us!

Food Paradise
Food Paradise is a Family-owned eatery serving predominantly Indian inspired cuisine. Starting in the SUB before moving to a food truck and ultimately their forever home in the Pā, Kumar is the visionary behind Butter Chicken Chips. They will change your life.
PRO TIP: The only place in the Pā where you can buy icecream

Kahurangi Cafe
Located in The Pā and on the Green, Kahurangi is the University’s own cafe. In partnership with Montana catering it is the staple that keeps us all going. They offer cafe-style cabinet food and coffee. Kahurangi Lakes is sometimes affectionately known as Stacy’s after its long-serving Manager.
Some people will tell you that the McMuffin is best but those people probably don’t drink coffee.

Sue's Cafe
Nutella Pancakes, Buffalo Chicken, Spring Rolls, Curly Fries. Don’t get us wrong, Sue and John are literally the nicest people you will meet on this campus, BUT even if they were garbage humans, we would still eat the Spicy beef on rice. The food is that damn good.

TANK Waikato
Also located in the Pā, TANK is here to ensure our students include fruit and vegetables in their diet of instant noodles and beer. TANK Waikato University offers an array of Smoothies, Raw Juices, Salads & Wraps – and Weekly Deals featured on their Facebook page.

UniMart
Located on the Green is your new favourite convenience store, UniMart. Offering Energy drinks for those early morning classes, pies and bao buns for when you “forgot” lunch, ice cream for the hot days on campus or dishwashing liquid for when your flatmate won’t stop bugging you to do more around the flat.

Little Bongo
The hidden gem of campus and the only place to offer bakery-style food is Little Bongo, the little sister of Bongo Cafe, is located on the bottom floor of the Pā.
